Fra ung alder vokste han opp på den familiedrevne kaffefarmen. Som familie bestemte de seg for å investere i å plante høykvalitetsvarianter, som Geisha, Caturra og Bourbon. Fra han var 17 år har Yair kontinuerlig utdannet seg som kaffesmaker, en prosess som nå har ført til at han har blitt en del av kvalitetskontrollteamet hos FincaChurupampa. Takket være denne erfaringen forstår han viktigheten av kvaliteten på kaffebønnene og deres innvirkning på kaffens verdi. For øyeblikket er Yair bare én eksamen unna å oppnå Q Grader-sertifisering, en prestasjon som representerer stor stolthet for både familien hans oss, og som bekrefter hans dedikasjon, disiplin og lidenskap for spesialkaffe.
